So, you may not be a UNI student, but UNI just won the first game in the playoffs and the #2 and #3 teams fell! So, as you can see...our coach, Mark Farley, is a pretty amazing coach! So, go to coachoftheyear.com and give him a vote each day to keep the Appalachian coach away! Support the great state of Iowa and the UNI Panthers!
THANK YOU!!!

i'm FALLing
*sigh*
Today is a gorgeous day. I might even dare to say and perfect fall day. This weekend I thought all the pretty leaves were gone, but no. I saw orange and red leaves all over today. Yay! I don't like the brown old dead fallen leaves much.
Chubby, Half-Pint, and Doodle are still alive! I have not killed them. However they are messy! The dirty up the tank so much. But it's a five gallon tank. I can't just change the water like it's no big deal. Oh well! They're my babies, even though I miss my babies from home.
I'm going through baby withdrawl. I would have thought that I could have gotten through it in a shorter amount of time. But I miss them so much. I think thats why I keep going back to Koalaty Time. I go off to school, miss them like crazy, and then forget about all of the negative parts of my work and just think about the positives. Then I go back and I'm back in gossip, drama, crap-land. I miss it so much.
Retreat this weekend. hmmmm...not sure if I'm excited or not.
Next weekend...4 years.....I am sure that I'm excited for that.

September
It has been a while. September is half over. The second half of August flew by. I don't even remember what happened.
My job is a 24/7 job. Last night I had the pleasure to wake up at 3 AM to a group of very loud and intoxicated people. But, by the time I woke up, they were gone. Grrrr. However, no one has ripped down any of my bulletin boards. That is wonderful.
Some people are stupid. Do you honestly thinking you're showing me when you rip down the Alcohol Policy sign? First of all, you're stupid. The Alcohol Policy sign was dead center in the middle of about 20 other signs. Obviously you wanted to get drunk! Second, if the sign comes down, does that mean the alcohol policy doesn't apply? NO! I was the one who told you when you checked in that you were responsible for knowing the policies on page 9 of the Panther Planner. Third, so you made me make another copy of the sign! BIG DEAL! Don't be retarded and thinking you're "showing me" by pulling down ONE sign!
I'm planning a money management program for the 27th. We're going to get to learn how to manage money while painting piggy banks! I'm uber excited!
I have been seriously attempting to be organized. I made a calendar for events in the lounge windows. Hopefully I'll be able to keep that up to date which will then help me be organized!
I need to change my bulletin boards. I'm thinking one will be about how different cultures celebrate birthdays. I'm not sure what the other one will be. I'm choosing the birthday one to be my "serious" board. So, I need a fun idea!
Time to go back to work!

UNI
So, I've been moved in since August 3rd. It's been pretty amazing! I love my new job and the new people I get to work with. Our staff is pretty darn sweet!
I have been so incredibly busy with training. I just got my room organized two days ago and today is the last day of training! Tomorrow begins opening weekend. I know...Wednesday isn't a weekend! However, Springboard moves in tomorrow! Which means tomorrow is when I start my official job as a RA. Currently I have 14 residents moved in to the permanent residence! In the end I will have 52 residents. I'm pretty excited about this upcoming year.

It's been a long time....
So,
I haven't been on here in quite some time.
What's new with me?
Well, I've been working hard at the daycare with babies! I truly enjoy it. However, after this summer I won't be going back to the day care!
I'm in a hunt for a new car since I will be leaving my gorgeous green Intrepid home this year. My sister will be taking over that car. We went looking today and found a black Jeep Liberty. I've had my eye on a Jeep Liberty since forever it seems. I would absolutely love to have that Liberty. I will be paying for some of it myself. I suppose that is okay other than the fact that I won't be the one that keeps it in the end. We are also considering leasing an Impala. I know, you would think that a Chevy Impala is a "family car" but the new Impalas are sweet! I found a red Impala with tan interior and was like "WOW." If I had the option I would love a cream colored car. Or, I saw this PT Cruiser on one of the lots and it was seriously a pastel yellow. Like Easter kind of yellow. Not gold, not champagne, PASTEL YELLOW. The interior dash was the same yellow and the rest of the interior was tan! Amazing!
Josh and I are Grrrrrr-eat! haha. He and Phil are hopefully rooming together next year at UNI. This past Wednesday the three of us went up to UNI. They went to their Transfer Orientation and I went to spend the day with Courtney! We kind of just chilled in the morning and then got ready and went to Main Street and found some really cute shops. We found one where we want to get all of our house decorations. That is, when we each BUY a house! I have approximately 34 days until I go back to UNI and none of my door decorations are completed! I'm doomed basically! I'll be up late every night trying to complete them! grrrr... Oh well I suppose.
I need to go shopping and find an outfit to wear to the wedding I'm attending on August 3rd. Then, one day later I will be celebrating my 19th birthday at UNI. My first birthday away from home. That'll be different. I've never been away from home on my birthday. Josh will be up there though since he's going to the wedding with me!
I also need to buy a gift for a baby shower in 2 weeks and also a gift for the wedding! Ay yi yi!
I just got done hanging artwork in my room. I rearranged my room so that one wall was completely empty. So, I decided that I should stop ruining my artwork and actually hang it somewhere! I don't have a lot but I like what's there! I have a piece in progress that I need to finish! I'm also taking an art class this semester. We'll see how that goes. It's supposed to be a LAC course. Hopefully it won't be too difficult! I'm afraid I'm going to be super busy this year. Plus, sophomore year is supposed to be the hardest year for Accounting majors.
Goodness!
On an ending note, I got a new phone. It's a LG enV. Plus, my ringtone in pretty much amazing!

I would swallow my pride
I would choke on the rhines
But the lack thereof would leave me empty inside
I would swallow my doubt
Turn it inside out
Find nothing but faith in nothing
Want to put my tender heart it in a blender
Watch it spin round to a beautiful oblivion
Rendezvous then I'm through with you

Summer...so far
I am absolutely loving summer! I'm working 40 hours a week at the day care. Stressful at times but I'm loving it! Plus, I got my raise I've been asking for. I'm also seeing Josh a lot more! It's great! I'm no longer a night person! I have to go to bed before 12 on the week days! I start getting tired at like 10. It's insane! OH WELL! I'm still happy with this summer.
Phil's back, so now I need to find something to do when I'm not hanging out with Josh. Maybe I could actually organize my room. I haven't unpacked. But I need to go get shelf things at Target because mine are at Noehren.
I'm never on the computer anymore...I like it! haha!
